Church Gets a New Roof After 182 Years
On April 12, 2021, Highland Roofing Company began work to replace the original roof on St. James Episcopal Church in downtown Wilmington. Built in 1839, the roof is now 182 years old. Working with Architect Ian Johnston, AIA, Highland will work into the summer to install a new roof that maintains the historical appeal from one of Wilmington’s landmarks.
